Now that I'm finally 47, I can get any buff in the game to stick.

This being my first melee past this barrier (if you discount cleric and
bard, which both melee about as well as a wet noodle if we want to be
really honest) I'm not really cognizant of what this means in terms of
buffs.

I'm looking for two lists;

One, long duration buffs I can pick up in POK and which will last long
enough to be of practical value by the time I travel to a hunting spot;
say stuff over an hour duration. Last night I got an SOV that lasted 62
minutes or so... I guess with a LOT of buff extender AA and gear that
one technically qualifies.

Whats the top level version of Brells?

There are numerous shaman stat buffs which I've had with 60 minute plus
durations

Whats the name and duration of the top end Beastlord buff, that has hp
regen component to it doesn't it?

Rangers have a buff line that includes COE which was great at very low
levels, a long duration DS that stacks with normal DS; is there an
upgrade to that?

I'm sure there's more out there which would be of help and fit on this list.

Two, short duration buffs from people around my level I group with. I
notice many buff casters only bother putting the buffs on people that
they request. What should I be looking for? I mean, clearly I want the
best HP/AC buff I can manage, and whenever there's a druid or mage I
insist on a DS if I'm tanking, and I always go for haste when I can get
it... but other than these and some shaman stat buffs, I get lost as to
whats available out there which I should be looking for.

you just need to be conscious of the stacking, especially for the secondary
HP buff (some lucy fanatic will provide the slot =p )...BSS, SoT, and SV all
share a slot

BSS is the big HP one
SV is second best, and gives some +atk (and it's conveniently cast by the
BL, who you'll bug for a SD if you feel you need it)
and SoT is the crappy one, the one rangers get, the +atk buff with a tiny
+hp component

none of these overwrite eachother - they all block eachother...you have to
decide which you want (c'mon, it's BSS)

Yes SoT sucks for any but melee dps, rogues and monks, and the guilds only
high level berserker, ask me for it all the time, other melee prefer brells,
SV seems pointless to me (not that I hate beastlords at all).

Rangers dont use any of these anyway, so dont care about casting it or not
most of the time (65 rangers use a combo buff, protection of the wild, which
doesnt stack with any of them).

Nooo not the pink heart of doom! You are DPS primarily in my opinion, I
reckon Strength of Tunare (ranger) of Spiritual Vigor (beastlord) are more
suited to you. SoT is most atk, least hp, SV is medium atk, medium hp,
Brells is HP only. SoT is one hour base iirc.

Spiritual Dominion. Regens both HP and Mana.

Call of the rathe, adds AC and a small DS, about an hour base.

Spirit of the predator is a ranger atk only buff. Rangers are hardly
deluded with tells for there buffs, most probably wont mind casting on you
(in fact would probably be shocked at even being asked).

Spell casting reinforcement / extended buffs are not high on a rangers list
of AA, I have just started to get then (SCR2) at around 200 aa (mainly to
increase the length of haste from my DCotS and Guardian of the Forest AA).
