60 necro soloing

I'm a 60 necro and a little clueless about where I might be ablr to solo
next. Does anyone know of any good guides or be able the give me a where
and how?

Most of the decent spots to solo are crap since they messed around with the
pathing. Seems like they arrnged for a feared mob to head directly into
other spawns.

Try agro kiting when the pathing makes fear kiting impossible. Turn
pet taunt off, snare sick pet and DOT and run.
Of course that doesn't work against casters ro mobs that summon.

And there's always root rotting, or sending the pet in to TANK. Which it
can sometimes do a great job of.

Once you get to this level fear kiting isn't the best method anyway.

Agro kiting is more effective and just as safe and you can control the
pathing then.
You can practise that and still get XP from the ravens in PoN at your level.

Also pet tanking works against undead. Try going to veksar and using your
pet
to tank the undead just above the ramp from where the goblins are near the
entrance. You'll need to use shadowbond on the pet all the time to keep it's
health up and be certain to use shackle or spirit on the undead to slow them
by
about 70%. Then use vexing to get back the health you'll be losing. It's
very easy
in veksar once you get the hang of it.

Once you get to 62 and head to HoH. The GY there rocks solo. Although
I am a druid, I can say that for a necro aggro kiting there rocks. I
have teamed up several times with necros there, and it seems the more
necros we get there the more pulls at once we can kite around. Had a
group the other day with 3 necros and me (65 druid) and we were taking
3 mobs at once.

I have to agree. I went from 1/2 yellow into 62 (on friday evening) to
64 and 1.5 yellow by Sunday night just in that camp. The xp is insane,
and necros and druids really do the trick. We had, at one point, a druid
puller, a couple necros, a couple wizards, and a cleric. The druid was
bringing back as many as five at a time and we were just keeping them
snared, running in circles, a herd of pets on them, dots, and the
wizards and cleric standing in the center blowing them up after the
kiters established rage aggro. It was just nuts the way the xp flew in.

When I was 60 I had this great idea to work on aa. I wanted to get my
archetype title before I leveled any higher. In retrospect this might not
have been the best idea, but I was a 60 Sage and I liked it. I pretty much
soloed geonids in WL the entire time. You used to be able to fear kite them
out of the cave, but since all the pathing changes the Geonids will run back
into the caves rather than out of them. What you can do is aggro kite your
Geonid past the big rock at the entrance and then fear it and it will run
out wards. Then just let fear wear off and have him come back to you at the
rock and fear him again. I could kill all the way back to where the cave
splits and get back to the first repop. About one in six spawns you will
get a shimmering geonid. They drop unrefined gems for the 8th Coldain
Prayer Shawl. Occasionally you will find this spot camped as people come
looking for these gems.

Veksar will be the place that you can DING 65 as a necro pretty fast. 95%
of the mobs are undead. You will not fear kite there. the undead has very
narrow agro range so you seldom get add. Just send pet, slow, dot, dd then
you are done. It has great loot too. For the weapons that you loot from
the mobs in Veksar, you can do a quest in loio by turning in 4 same weaps at
a time, it will give you very good xp even at 60. However, I have passed
all of the weap I got to my alt druid while I leveling from 60 to 65. My
druid was 35, and now is 44, by just doing that quest. Also the undead is a
good dire charm pet. When you got that, you'll definitely give up your lvl
65 pet. It has 7k hp and hit for 125 for at lvl 46.
