Hi All;

I've spent very little time in OS and when there usually at the "Jail" camp.
I've read several "guides" to OS and keep running into conflicting info
about the "Disco" area so I thought I would ask the veterans here.

There is a door to the "Disco" area. Some guides indicate you just click on
it and enter. Some indicate you MUST have a rogue. Some indicate there is a
key you can get somewhere, like the OS key you first get.

Could you please clarify this for me? If a key IS used, where/how do I get
this?

Thanks in advance for your time and help.

No key required for disco. The only area that needs a rogue to open the doors
is what is known( at least on my server) as the six rooms area, where there are
undead mobs. There are lots of nice guides on Seb around. I am sure you can
find one.

You talking about the door down past Juggs on the way to Trak's area?

He's probably talking about the locked door on the top floor, just
past the bugs. We call it 4-door on BB.

And you don't really need a rogue for OS locked doors if you know what
you are doing. When getting into reets on a Trak raid without a rogue
you get agro on one jugg only.. get it down to ~5% health and watch it
run for the door and as it opens it snare/root, kill it and run in
fast. Break reets and keep on chugging.

That area is known to most as PLA (or Plentiful Loot Area).

depending on your server, there are two places taht can be called
'jail'......

1 lower zone out (i'm sure some have called it 'jail') -- from the big rock,
jump into the water and swim through the tunnels, and when you get out, kill
the frog or two at the bottom, then swim down more...when you come up, there
will be either four or six cells in the room you arrive in, and the lower
zone out will be behind a door (not locked) on your left ....

2 cage (it could be 'jail' also) -- at the big rock, turn right and go over
the first bridge, start heading down, and cage is the area with the 'caged
door' and the cells behind it, coming up on the left as you walk the area
with water to the right

~other camps~

disco -- back at the big rock, go to the extreme left (ignoring the upper
zone out at your immediate left) and head across that bridge, and as you
move down that long hall, disco is the circular platform in the building at
the center of the main room

rare hall -- back at the rock, head straight across to where the necrosis
scarabs used to spawn (they don't drop gems though, they got nerfed) and go
down through that tunnel ...a rogue will need to picklock the door at the
base of the pyramid

for the other camps, such as king or juggs/reet, you have to head past lower
zone out, and it's best to just have a map =)

Looking on the EQ Atlas map it is marked as "Disco". When you go in and you
run to the left passed the door to the exit and cross the bridge, you go
down a long corridor and come to a big door that has a golem or something
sitting on a ledge over the door.

That's the door I'm asking about whether I need a rogue or key.

Thanks all for trying to answer what appeared to be a vague question by me.

No key is required for Disco (sometimes called Disco1 and Disco2)

The only locked door is into crypt (4 doors, whatever).. which is rogue
pickable. The rest have another method or trick to get into (e.g on the way
to Trak)

No key is required anywhere in Seb, aside from the key you used to zone in
with.

On our server, the jail is that caged area that when you enter the main open
area where the zone out is, you turn right, cross a bridge, go down a short
corridor, turn left into a small room where 4 jail cells are with 4 necros.

Thanks all for trying to help me

Disco is just straight in. It's a big room with a stage and sparklies.
You fight frogs, bugs, iksar necros, and golems there.

I know you can get into reets by having the last mob run through the
door.. not sure about crypt.

Alternately, you could just click on the torch next to the door and open it
yourself.
