Not sure if you can all help me, but why not?

I am moving to Europe (Britain) in the next couple of months. I am
looking at high end raiding guilds on Antonius Bayle should I decide to
leave my current server. I'm in a high end guild there that raids PST
3 days a week, but I doubt I can raid their times once I move. I am
going to try like hell to raid with them, though, after the move.
However, if I find raiding difficult, I know I will have to move. As
it stands, I'm just putting out feelers about Antonius Bayle high end
guilds.

I'm a bit up in the air about server transferring. I do love my guild,
am absolutely loyal to them, but I also like to raid. It's a huge
decision for me as I've been with my current guild for more than 3
years.

For Antonius Bayle, I've come across Darkwind, Raging Fury and Tide as
high end guilds. Well, at least from looking at EQ Rankings. However,
when I went to check their sites they all raid at least 5 days a week.
Is there a guild that is high end on Antonius Bayle that doesn't raid 5
days a week? Should I decide to server transfer and any of them need
my class, I am curious about the culture of the 3 guilds. What are
personalities like, are they mellow, which guild has the best rep on
the server, etc. I wonder if that makes sense? :) Furthermore, how
would one describe the personality of the average AB player?

FWIW, I'm a level 70 cleric and am flagged all the way up to Anguish.
I've got 1060 AAs and my epic 2.0.

I hope I didn't bore you all to death.

Thanks for reading this far.

A good start would be to turn on your anon/role flag, seems to be
a requirement for "high end" guilds. :p

I myself transfered from SolRo to AB a year ago, players on AB seem to
be more mature.
After the recent merge with the UbiSoft servers its quite crowded now,
its not uncommon to see 150 players in PoK,or 350 Bazaar traders now,
quite nice,I love it crowded.
Maybe if you re-think about your plans to join a "high end"guild and
would like to have some fun, there is at least one *very* active open
raid organisation now, though atm we are doing lower PoP stuff up to RZ
most of the raiders are experienced and long time players.Join channel
ulopen on AB,if you like to find out more.

Depends what you mean by high end. Ancient Dominion is a pretty serious
raiding guild that does 3 days a week, but Tide and Darkwind are very
high end - as in they quickly beat the end encounter in the latest
expansion, rather than being 1 or 2 behind.

Eclectic. AB is a server merged from at least 4 seperate servers, 2
of which were non english speaking. Find the folk you like and stick
with them ;)

I am moving to Europe (Britain) in the next couple of months. I am
looking at high end raiding guilds on Antonius Bayle should I decide to
leave my current server.
<SNIP>

Midwinter on AB used to be on KB, and its current guild leader is a
personal RL friend of mine, here in San Diego. They raid around 10-2
PST, and the website says a minimum of 4 days a week (which includes
weekends, I believe). (He works afternoons/evenings, if anyone was
wondering why he's in a Euro guild.) They are apparently in the middle
of moving their website/forum, but here are the links:

Current site, about to be locked:
http://www.pravda-of-norrath.com/phpBB2/index.php

New site, not many posts yet:
http://www.travellog.streamlinetrial.co.uk/phpBB2/index.php

And of course they want clerics. ;)

I was never a raider at all in EQ, so I only played with Midwinter
people when my friend would invite me on Hard LDoNs with them, or to go
to MPG when OoW first came out. But I never had any problems with any
of them as players, or personally. I quit before the merge with AB, so
I don't know anything about the other guilds you listed.

Hope this helps!

Game on,
